Yes, there is a snack bar and café located inside the Out Of Africa Wildlife park that you will have access to with a park admission ticket.

Grocery stores are a short distance away in Camp Verde & Cottonwood.

Additionally you can check out our list of things to do inside your tent which includes restaurants, coffee shops, wineries, breweries, and delicious BBQ spots. 

Yes, you can bring your own food. Please bring your own cooking supplies and utensils.

Yes, we have small shared refrigerators and a propane grill with a single burner. Each tent will have an ice chest as well, just remember to pick up some ice on your way in!

Our propane fire pits are available for roasting marshmallows (don’t forget your sticks/skewers). We ask that you use the kitchen for cooking.

Yes! When you check in you will be given an overnight parking pass to place on your dashboard. This will allow your car to stay parked in the Out Of Africa parking lot night for the duration of your stay.

No, you will not be able to park next to your tent, however, parking is not far from the safari glamping entrance should you need to access your vehicle.

Yes, however, gates are locked when the park closes (after 5pm) so you’ll need to contact the camp host to have the gate opened.

All guests will have access to giant Jenga and Corn hole. There is a campfire that guests like to sit around and share stories, and songs.  There are hammocks where you can read a favorite book or take a quick cat nap to recharge from a full day of adventure.

Eland, Wildebeest and Scimitar Horned Oryx are the animals in the enclosure by us. You’ll also be able to hear other animals… Like the lion when he wakes up or is hungry!

We currently have 8 tents set up for glamping in the village. Each tent is a separate booking. 5 tents have a Queen bed and 3 tents have 2 twin beds. Each tent also has an add a cot option for a small additional fee. Please call to discuss additional accommodations if needed.

Out of Africa tickets are not included in the glamping price, however, you can receive 20% off your admission by showing your glamping receipt at the ticket window.

The Weather in Camp Verde is mild and pleasant. The weather conditions can change quickly and often, wind picks up in the afternoon. It is typically warmer during the day and cools off during evening hours. Search Camp Verde on your weather app to see current weather.

Bring the essentials that you would bring with you if you were camping, including toiletries. We suggest packing clothes that can be easily layered as well as proper sun protection; sunscreen, hat, sunglasses.

Each tent will have access to drinking water, propane grill & stove, lanterns, towels, first aid kit, pillows, blankets, heaters, campfire & garden games.

Due to COVID-19, shared toiletries will not be available.

Yes! Each tent is equipped with portable Mr Buddy heaters. Our guests find they are able to get the tent warm and comfortable.

There is a central charging station in the kitchen areas for phones and small devices. There is not power for hair dryers, straighteners, etc.

Yes, we have Wifi onsight for email checking and light internet use, however, it will not support video streaming or large file downloading.
